California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Information Shared Between Marketplace Participants When using marketplace features, certain information may be shared with other users involved in a transaction. This may include names, business information, contact information, service locations, job details, application information, certifications, operational records, and communications necessary to facilitate marketplace transactions and perform requested services.
Marketplace payments are processed by Stripe and related payment service providers. ADN does not store full payment card numbers, bank account credentials, or similar payment authentication information. Information necessary to process payments, verify identities, comply with financial regulations, prevent fraud, facilitate payouts, and resolve disputes may be shared with payment processors and financial service providers.
