AMERICAN DRONE NETWORK ACQUIRES CROPFLIGHT, CREATING NATION'S LARGEST AGRICULTURAL DRONE PILOT NETWORK

American Drone Network, the industry's ownership-based agricultural drone network, announced Friday the acquisition of CropFlight, a flight logging and operational management platform for agricultural drone pilots. The deal immediately integrates hundreds of certified pilots and data from millions of acres of documented flight operations into ADN's platform, which the company says makes it the nation's largest agricultural aviation network.

The acquisition positions ADN to connect farmers with professional pilots backed by institutional support while providing operators with expanded equipment access, training and data tools.

"This acquisition fundamentally changes the agricultural drone landscape," said Erik Kellim, CEO of American Drone Network. "By integrating CropFlight's extensive pilot network and proven technology platform with ADN's equipment access, guaranteed replacement, training programs and partner ecosystem, we're creating something the industry has never seen."

CropFlight has served hundreds of certified pilots who have collectively covered millions of acres across major agricultural regions. The platform tracks flight data, chemical application records, equipment telemetry and GPS coordinates — documentation required by FAA regulations, state requirements and customer contracts.

"CropFlight built exactly what professional agricultural drone pilots told us they wanted — reliable technology that makes compliance easier, documentation comprehensive and operations more professional," said Michelle Truman, CropFlight founder. "Joining forces with ADN allows us to enhance that technology with equipment guarantees, training infrastructure, partner discounts and operational support that independent pilots simply cannot access on their own."

Under the combined platform, farmers gain access to additional certified pilots across expanded geographic regions, along with verified operational histories and comprehensive flight documentation for each job. Pilots retain their independent contractor status, customer relationships and pricing control while gaining access to ADN's equipment replacement guarantee, technical hotline, training programs and ownership equity model.

ADN's existing infrastructure includes a 72-hour equipment replacement guarantee, access to N-numbered fleet aircraft, a real-time technical support hotline and regional training programs that earn continuing education credits.

The acquisition also brings together an operational dataset representing millions of documented flight acres. ADN said it plans to use that data to support safety analysis, application efficiency benchmarking, equipment performance tracking and regulatory compliance verification.

"Data is transforming agriculture across every sector, and aerial application is no exception," Kellim said. "The operational intelligence from millions of acres of documented flights will help us continuously improve safety, efficiency and service quality while demonstrating to regulators and the public that professional drone operations deliver results with accountability."

ADN said it plans to maintain CropFlight's core platform and existing user experience while adding new features and support capabilities. The company characterized Friday's announcement as the first in a series of platform developments expected to be disclosed in the coming weeks.

"We're not just acquiring a technology platform — we're acquiring the operational foundation for building agricultural aviation's future," Kellim said. "The hundreds of professional pilots who have trusted CropFlight for their logging and compliance now have access to the complete ADN ecosystem. And we're just getting started.”
